The quality of our information and the satisfaction of our subscribers and visitors are our priorities.

myluxroots, our application suite has been developed to give you enable you to add your recent family members born from 1895 to today, to link them to those already entered in our database, and thus obtain a pedigree chart for the people you entered. (Please note that people born until 1923 are often entered in our database on basis of information from the National Archives and that the people born after y (y=actual year-100) are not shown.)
The subscriber can add studies, jobs, functions, addresses, other information, pictures and links to all the records. The subscriber, enriching the database luxroots, earns myluxroots points. These points can be used to build pedigree charts and/or lists of descendants for people in the database already linked by marriage.

Leroy STUMPF, since 1982 member of the Senate of Minnesota, participated at an energy congress in Berlin and took the opportunity to visit the birthplaces of his ancestors.
Valentin EICHER, born 1844 in Lengeler (today Belgium), married Anna Margaretha KUBORN from Doennange in 1873, and both emigrated on September 5th, 1881 with their 4 children to Minnesota. 2 months after their arrival, Henry EICHER, the grand-father of Leroy, was born in Saint-Michael on January 9th, 1882. Today, 500 people are descending from this couple.
Valentin EICHER is the great-grandchild of Franciscus EICHER, born 1747 in Winseler and married 1779 in the Plummeschhaus in Kalborn. Their descendants are today living in Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, USA, and some other states.

Nowadays, it's not often that a centenarian dies, but it was even rarer 100 years ago. Nevertheless, we learn from death record of
Barbara SIMON, that she died at the age of 100 on May 12th, 1870 in Heinerscheid. Barbara was born as a child of LUX Carolus and Margaretha on March 20th, 1770 in Grindhausen at a time when the lastname was not very stable.

    The website of
Henri REGENWETTER, including also many genealogical data about his family, was suggested to us by one of our subscribers.
