luxroots.club asbl - your Genealogy Club in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

Dear friends and visitors of our websites

Fairly important work was done by the luxroots Genealogy group during the month of November with the organization of the Genealogy day 'Genealogy in the Greater Region' in Hesperange, with our participation at the Walfer Bicherdeeg and at the meeting of the historical circles in Virton (Belgium).
Even with relatively small participation of exhibitors, the genealogy day in Hesperange was a great success. See some pictures in our
Flashback as well as an article by Jean Marie BACKES in the Tageblatt.lu. We already invite you to the next Genealogy Days for Luxembourg and the Greater Region, which will be organized in Hesperange during the weekend of September 19 to 20, 2015.
We dare assume that our information booth at the Walfer Bicherdeeg was one of the most visited ones of the weekend.
We thank all concerned for their visit to our information booths during the three weekends and for their support of our projects by a subscription.
The membership of the luxroots.club association has increased by 12% since October 1st, 2014
