Your pedigree chart until 7 generations (1800-2017) on luxroots within one week?
Dear visitor

You registered on our website www.luxroots.com to do your genealogical research. This database is managed by the nonprofit association luxroots.com asbl. Our volunteers daily enter details of almost 600 record of birth/baptism, marriage or death.

Genealogy has never been easier than today! This is thanks to the millions of genealogical documents (birth / baptism, marriage and death) which are available online, but primarily due to details of these documents entered in the Internet databases.
luxroots offers now the largest genealogical database of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with details of 99% of births 1798-1923, 98% of marriages 1840-1923 and 75% of baptisms before 1800 of the Grand Duchy Luxembourg. You can check also the details of more than 220,000 births 1798 to 1912 from Belgian border regions and more than 60,000 births 1798-1914 of the German border regions on luxroots.

You are searching your ancestors? If your ancestors were born and married in Luxembourg, then luxroots can display your pedigree chart up to 7 generations (1800-2015) within one week. See the pedigree tables of
Christiane, Hortense, Paulette and Serge. Do the same, we help you!

How to do this?
You are already registered at luxroots.com, so take an
annual subscription (if you have not already done so) and continue reading:

We offer our help to connect your recent family members (usually born after 1923) to ancestors already entered by our volunteer associates. You can do it yourself using our
myluxroots transactions or you send us the data by message, and we'll enter them for you.

Case 1: If your parents are born in Luxembourg before 1924, we should have their data. In this case, it is important to enter your data in the transaction
Child a couple (by searching first your father, then your mother, and then you enter your data.) If you want us to do it for you, please send us a message with the full names, dates and places of birth of your parents and yourself.

Case 2: If your grandparents were born in Luxembourg before 1924, then you must enter with the transaction
Child a couple first your father, then your mother, then yourself. Alternatively you can send us the full names, dates and places of birth of your two grandfathers, of your 2 grandmothers, of your parents and from yourself.

Case 3: If one of your parents or grandparents was born abroad before 1912, it may be that he/she is already entered in our database. If not, you can use the
new person transaction to enter this person or you transmit his or her data to us by message.

If you enter the data via the myluxroots transactions,we will reward this collaboration with myluxroots points. After entering the data, you find a 'Pedigree Chart' button on the sheet of that person (in a yellow menu) which you can activate to get the pedigree table.
If you send us the data, we will enter them and we return you a link to the sheet of that person.
Then add through the myluxroots transactions (yellow menu on the sheet) pictures, information on education, occupations, functions, wedding data, deaths, migration, links, ....
Data entered on people born in the last 100 years are only visible to you.

Together we can do better. Help us to build the largest genealogy database of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and neighboring regions.
