Here are the results of our last poll about the possible transfer of the National Archives from Luxembourg to Esch/Alzette: 2/3 of the 169 participants wants the Archives to remain in Luxembourg, 1/4 voted for a new building in Esch/Alzette, 11% have no opinion thereon.

Some luxroots associates give workshops for people who are interested in order to help them start in genealogy, to help them with programs on their computers and on the Internet. The workshops will be given free of charge in a room at the Hall Omnisports in Leudelange. For more details, check
this page.

How to do searches on luxroots? What's the work of a luxroots associate? - some questions to which we want to give an answer in our workshop on Saturday, May 29th, from 2pm to 4pm. You are all welcome!

luxroots on Tour our first historical and cultural footing will be hold on Sunday, May 30th, 2010 starting at 2pm in the former township of Hachiville. We will meet at the
former school of Hachiville for a 7km footing. Please register until May 25th !

Since January 1st, our associates have added on average per week up to 2.000 birth records and near 175 wedding records to their database.
We are looking for further associates for the following
Townships and parishes. 160 users are supporting our project with one of the proposed memberships. If you are not yet among these people, join them now!
